Kingdom County Productions will mount a vigorous release campaign for Northern Borders—including a 100 Town Tour that will stage screenings and discussions throughout Vermont and New England. Students will help lead these tours to town halls, movie theaters, libraries, schools, and alternate venues. We will also launch an energetic campaign for DVD sales, downloads, television and cable stations, as well as PBS outlets such as Vermont Public Television. KCP is well-versed in wide-ranging distribution strategies, having played its films in 348 U.S. towns and 53 countries, with DVD sales of more than 300,000 and television broadcast, including Sundance Channel, Disney Channel, Starz, Encore, and Showtime. KCP productions have also played at film festivals including Sundance, South By Southwest, AFI Fest, Vienna, Vancouver, and Avignon—and special screenings at The Smithsonian, Lincoln Center, the American Film Institute, Art Institute of Chicago, Harvard Film Archives, George Eastman House, Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts, Cinémathèque Française, The Constitutional Court of Johannesburg, La Cinemateca Nacional de Venezuela, and Beijing Normal University.
